A small hose, big damage
Braided stainless hoses are constantly exposed to pressure, moisture and, over time, corrosion, even though they are usually out of sight. A damaged braid, rust, a bulge or dripping is a sign the hose must be replaced at once, because a worn hose bursting can flood the flat within minutes and cause serious damage to the neighbours as well. That is why we recommend an occasional visual check and fitting proven hoses from manufacturers who give a long warranty.
